Still feeling inspired after an impactful Women in Business Week event focused on one powerful goal: helping entrepreneurs Get Certified. Get Contracts. Get Growing.

I had the honor of speaking alongside a panel of powerhouse leaders and industry experts, all committed to equipping business owners with the tools, knowledge, and strategies needed to increase revenue and scale with intention.

Branding Is a Revenue Tool, Not Just a Visual Asset

During my session, I spoke about how strategic branding and marketing are essential drivers of growth, not optional add-ons. Whether you’re just starting your business or preparing to scale, your brand plays a critical role in:

  • Increasing visibility

  • Building trust with decision-makers

  • Positioning your business to win contracts

  • Supporting long-term, sustainable revenue

Your brand is not just how your business looks it’s how it’s understood, remembered, and chosen.

What Attendees Walked Away With

Participants left the event with clear, actionable takeaways, including:

  • Practical steps on how to get certified

  • Guidance on securing business contracts

  • Brand strategies that convert, not just look good

  • Professional headshots, thanks to Noir Photography Studios

  • A chance to win a gift card, because growth should be rewarding too

The energy in the room reflected what happens when education, access, and community come together.

Gratitude & Community

I’m grateful to share the stage with such an impactful group of speakers and to be part of a program designed to move entrepreneurs from information to execution.

A sincere thank you to NECC, SBDC, PNC Bank, and all of the partners who made this event possible. Special thanks to Harvetta Lynch for the invitation and for continuing to create spaces where entrepreneurs can learn, connect, and grow. And to every attendee thank you for showing up for yourself and your business. Let’s continue to build intentionally, brand strategically, and boldly take up space.
